ABOUT ME
I was born in Minnesota and lived in the Twin Cities metro until I turned 18 and moved to Nebraska to attend Creighton University. There, I found psychology. Psychology has been my academic passion since then, and it has taken me to places I have never imagined, including Namibia. After Creighton, I attended the University of Nebraska - Lincoln for graduate school and earned a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology. Currently, I am an Assistant Professor of Counseling Psychology at Purdue University.

Outside of academics, I enjoy spending time with my partner, taking our dog for walks or to the dog park, biking, cooking, reading, and brewing beer.
